I've also been thinking about complimenting those with a mod that makes radiation deadlier, but never tried one of those mods myself, I know there are several, but I can't make a specific recommendation. I also quite like the mod Ultimate Illness, which adds a Fallout 4 inspired disease system and Water Overhaul which makes Clean Water a lot harder to find and separates dirty water into more categories, generally making the radiation damage on them higher. Project Nevada also has a great Mod Configuration Menu that lets you toggle or edit lots of the new features it adds as well as vanilla features, such rate at which you get thirsty or hungry, so even if you don't like how its set up by default you can mess with the different presets or make your own to figure out what fits the kind of game you want to play. They both make the game more challenging and enhance the survival feel by by doing things like reblancing combat to be more dangerous and faster paced an increasing the rarity of items like stimpacks. In terms of enhancing the survival feel of the game, Project Nevada or possibly the JSawyer mod could be a good place to start. Maybe these weren't enough mods, maybe these mods ?️ gay as fuk, maybe they're just not what you were looking for, but I had the time of my life with those mods and that play through. Then I headed straight to where the Clint Eastwood stuff is (it has his outfits and 2 revolvers), and I geared up and headed out. When I started my play through, I gave myself this with the console commands right after I got out of Doc Mitchell's house: I'm not 100% too sure about good survival mods, I apologise for that That's the perfect gunslinger play through for me, at least. So with all those mods, you will have a badass gunslinger outfit, you'll be yelling its high noon every time you get in vats (which is immersive enough for me to be happy every time I hear it), you'll be quick drawing and blasting enemies in the head, dodging bullets by rolling around, making your enemies go blind with flash grenades, all while chomping on a fat ass cigar. That was my main goal when creating that small mod list. Stun Grenades / Flash bangs: (I didn't have the DLC that adds flash bangs so I used this as an improvisation, cause I gotta have me my flash bangs)Īnimation Resources (use this for revolver animations and dodge roll animations) (I didn't actually use this through my play through, but I would highly recommend something like this)īasically I just tried to make Jesse McCree / Clint Eastwood. They're these:Ĭlint Eastwood Pack: (It has Clint Eastwoods outfit from A Fistfull of Dollars, with and without a poncho. With the gunslinger Fallout NV play through, I had only a few main mods. Every play through with a mod list I've created that has 50+ mods, I've given up on after a few days of the play through.
I believe the key objective in a good, long time play through is minimalism. I just recently completed a gunslinger play through for Fallout NV, and it was my best play through yet.
